David Russell

David began his design career in Glasgow in 1986 at Rex Stewart, working on brands like Baxters, Lever Brothers, Arnold Clark and the 1988 Glasgow Garden Festival.

 

In 1989 David became Senior Art Director/Designer with The Bridge, working on ScottishPower, Arnold Clark, Halls, Miller Homes and Gleneagles Hotel.

 

In 1992 he was appointed Creative Director at a small agency in Aberdeen taking creative responsibility for brands like Grampian Country Foods, Scotch Premier, AECC and Shell.

 

In 1994, he launched his own company before relocating back to Glasgow in 1996 under the Hyphen Design banner.

When he isn't working, David likes to keep himself busy playing golf, banging his drums, riding his motorbike or relaxing with a good red wine in front of the telly.
